1. Who is responsible
Mark ReedTM runs this site. Questions about privacy go to keepthefoodsyoulove@gmail.com.
2. What this site collects by itself
The sales page has no account, no sign-up form and no comment box. You can read all of it without telling us anything.
Like most websites, the company that hosts these pages may keep standard technical logs, such as the time of a visit and the type of browser.
3. When you buy
Checkout happens on a page run by Lemon Squeezy, which sells the book to you as our authorized reseller. Your card details are entered there, not on this site, and their privacy policy covers how they handle them.
After a purchase, they pass us what we need to deliver the book and keep records of the sale. That usually means your name, your email address, what you bought and when.
4. When you email us
If you write to keepthefoodsyoulove@gmail.com, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to answer you.
5. Analytics and advertising tools
This site notes how you arrived (for example, the site or ad that linked here) and which button you used. It keeps that in your browser for the length of your visit and passes it to checkout with your order, so we can see which links lead to sales. It does not identify you.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see how the page is used: which pages and sections are viewed, which buttons are clicked, roughly where visitors are and what kind of device they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell one visit from another. You can block it with your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how the page is used: where people click and scroll, shown as click maps and as replays of visits. Clarity sets cookies, and Microsoft receives this usage data; text you type into forms is masked. How Microsoft handles it is described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
The site has no advertising pixels.
6. What we use it for
- To deliver the book you bought.
- To answer your questions and handle refund requests.
- To keep the sales records a business has to keep.
7. Who else sees it
The service providers named on this page see the information they need to do their part: the checkout provider, the host, our email service and any tools listed in section 5. We may also have to share information when the law requires it.
8. How long we keep it
We keep sales records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep emails you send us for as long as it takes to answer you and handle any follow-up, and then delete them.
9. Your choices
You can write to keepthefoodsyoulove@gmail.com to ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. We will tell you what we can do and whether there is anything we have to keep, such as sales records.
10. Changes to this page
If this page changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
